October 24, 2025: Harper, TX 78631 The San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX) football trounced the host Harper Longhorns (Harper, TX), 42-7 in Friday's league outing.
The Armadillos now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holland for a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 game on Friday, October 31. San Saba will face a Hornets team coming off a 51-0 league loss to Mason (Mason, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 1-7.
The Longhorns (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Thorndale (Thorndale, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A-1 Region IV District 14 bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Thorndale smashed Johnson City (Johnson City, TX), 47-0, in a league bout.
