The Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) football tipped the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 13-12 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gering for a B District 5 game on Friday, October 24. Hastings will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 21-20 non-league win over Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.

The Minutemen (2-6) will now prepare for their game against McCook (McCook, NE). The Bison enter the B District 5 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, McCook was edged by Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE), 21-7, in a league outing.
