In Friday's league game, the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) football team triumphed over the visiting Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE), by a score of 42-0.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a B District 5 game, on Friday, October 17. Scottsbluff will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Bison enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Ogallala (Ogallala, NE).
