In Friday's non-league bout, the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) football team crushed the host Lincoln Northwest Falcons (Lincoln, NE), by a final score of 56-7.

With the win, Scottsbluff advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bearcats host Crete (Crete, NE) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12.
