Nebraska High School Football - Scottsbluff tops McCook

October 17, 2025: McCook, NE 69001

The Scottsbluff Bearcats football squad scored 21 points and limited the host McCook Bison to 7 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host York for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Scottsbluff will meet a Dukes squad coming off a 42-16 league loss to Seward (Seward, NE). The Dukes record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, McCook drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Lexington (Lexington, NE) to meet the Minutemen in a B District 5 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Minutemen enter the challenge with a record of 2-6. Lexington lost 13-12 in their recent league challenge against Hastings (Hastings, NE)
