The Prattville Lions got by the host Hillcrest Patriots football squad by a count of 38-31 in Friday's league test.

The Lions now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Thompson for a 7A Region 3 test on Friday, October 24. Prattville will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 33-30 league loss to Hoover (Hoover, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Hillcrest drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL) to meet the Eagles in a 7A Region 3 test on Friday, October 24. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-5. Oak Mountain lost 36-21 in their recent league test against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL)
