Alabama High School Football - Oak Mountain can't hold off Hillcrest

Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 25-23 in a league battle.

With the win, Hillcrest improves its record to 6-4 on the season.

The Eagles now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chelsea for a non-league test on Thursday, October 30. Oak Mountain will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 42-21 league loss to Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.
