The Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR) football were winner over the visiting Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR), 45-19 in Friday's league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeview for a 3A Special District 5 outing on Friday, October 24. Phoenix will clash with a Honkers squad coming off a 47-6 league loss to North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Honkers record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Klamath Union drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Pelicans travel to Modesto Christian (Modesto, CA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 23. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 1-7. Modesto Christian lost 49-6 in their recent non-league outing against Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA)
