In Friday's league game, the Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) football team triumphed over the host Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR), by a tally of 69-0.

In their next game, the Challengers battle the Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR) in a 3A Special District 5 game, on Friday, October 10. Cascade Christian will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 42-21 league loss to North Valley (Grants Pass, OR).

The Pelicans (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Honkers come into the 3A Special District 5 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Lakeview was overwhelmed by Nyssa (Nyssa, OR), 16-7, in a non-league outing.
