Ohio High School Football - Licking Heights falls to Watkins Memorial
October 17, 2025: Pataskala, OH 43062 The Watkins Memorial Warriors felled the visiting Licking Heights Hornets football team by a score of 42-14 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH) in a Licking County - Buckeye challenge, on Friday, October 24. Watkins Memorial will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 58-13 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH).
The Hornets (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Zanesville (Zanesville, OH). The Blue Devils come into the Licking County - Buckeye test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Zanesville was defeated by Granville (Granville, OH), 52-8, in a league test.
