The Valley Center Hornets football team (Valley Center, KS), was crushed 68-34 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Maize Eagles (Maize, KS)

With the win, Maize advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to South (Salina, KS) to confront the Cougars in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I contest on Friday, October 24. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 1-6. South won 55-6 in their recent league battle against Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS)

The Hornets now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Haysville Campus for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I battle on Friday, October 24. Valley Center will encounter a Colts team coming off a 55-6 league loss to South (Salina, KS). The Colts record now stands at 0-7.
