The Mooresville Pioneers felled the host Perry Meridian Falcons football squad by a count of 42-21 in Friday's league test.

The Pioneers now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Indianapolis Bishop Chatard for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Mooresville will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to Elder (Cincinnati, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 7-2.

With the defeat, Perry Meridian moves to 2-7 on the season. The Falcons host Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 31. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Warren Central lost 28-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN)
