The North Edgecombe Warriors felled the host Sallie B. Howard Eagles football team by a score of 14-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors play the Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) in a Eastern Carolina 1A challenge, on Friday, October 24. North Edgecombe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 46-6 league loss to Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC).
