Virginia High School Football - Randolph-Henry thwarted by Nottoway

Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), 22-14 in a league match.

The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Knights come into the James River match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Buckingham was beaten by Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA), 21-14, in a league match.

Next up, the Statesmen play the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 30. Randolph-Henry will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
