Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), 43-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Buckingham advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA) to play the Chargers in a James River battle on Friday, October 17. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 5-0.

Coming up next, the Statesmen confront the Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA) in a James River match, on Friday, October 10. Randolph-Henry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 45-12 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA).
