October 17, 2025: Winnemucca, NV 89445 Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV), 26-7 in a league battle.
With the win, Lowry advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Buckaroos travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to confront the Greenwave in a non-league match on Friday, October 24. The Greenwave come into the match with a record of 6-2. Churchill County lost 36-0 in their recent league match against Elko (Elko, NV)
Coming up next, the Vaqueros confront the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 24. Fernley will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Dust Devils go into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 44-0 league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV).
