Washington, DC High School Volleyball - Archbishop Carroll bounced by Our Lady of Good Counsel
October 17, 2025: Washington, DC 20017 Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Our Lady of Good Counsel improves its record to 4-11 on the season. The Falcons travel to St. John's (Washington, DC) to meet the Cadets in a WCAC challenge on Tuesday, October 21. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. St. John's won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD)
Next, the Lions meet the Elizabeth Seton Roadrunners (Bladensburg, MD) in a Washington Catholic challenge, on Monday, October 20. Archbishop Carroll will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record. The Roadrunners go into the test with a 4-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA).
