October 17, 2025: Eek, AK 99578 Fans at Friday's league contest between the Nelson Island Islanders (Toksook Bay, AK) and the host Eek Cougars (Eek, AK), observed Nelson Island's volleyball team top Eek by a count of 2-0.
The Islanders (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Akiuk Memorial (Kasigluk, AK). The Grizzlies enter the Mix 6 Alaska Coastal contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Akiuk Memorial was knocked off by Nelson Island (Toksook Bay, AK), 2-0, in a league contest.
The Cougars now own a 0-1 record.
