In Friday's non-league bout, the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) volleyball team held off the host Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

The Blue Devils now possess a 12-20 record. They play next when they travel to Conant for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. Warren Township will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 6-21.

With the loss, Northside drops to 15-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Warren (Warren, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, October 17.
