Nebraska High School Volleyball - Sutherland Maxwell
In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Maxwell Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sutherland Sailors.
The Wildcats (19-6) will now prepare for their battle against Chase County (Imperial, NE). The Longhorns come into the C1 District 12 battle with a 21-2 record. In their last battle, Chase County beat Perkins County (Grant, NE), 3-0, in a league contest.
With the loss, Sutherland drops to 5-19 on the campaign. The Sailors host Perkins County (Grant, NE) to battle the Plainsmen in a C2 District 11 contest on Saturday, October 18. The Plainsmen come into the contest with a record of 0-21. Perkins County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE)
