In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) volleyball squad edged the host Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) in a Mid-Illini contest, on Thursday, October 20. Dunlap will attempt to better on its 8-18 season record. The Redbirds come into the contest with a 28-4 record after their 2-0 league win over East Peoria (East Peoria, IL).
