October 18, 2022: Huron, SD 57350 The Riggs Governors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Huron Tigers to 0 in the Governors league victory on Tuesday.
The Governors now have a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aberdeen Central for a B Region 2 game on Saturday, October 22. Riggs will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 11-10.
The Tigers (15-7) will now prepare for their game against Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Kernels enter the AA District 1 game with a 6-14 record. In their last game, Mitchell dropped by Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD), 3-1, in a non-league game.
