October 18, 2022: Lubbock, TX 79401 The Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) volleyball overcame the host Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 3-1 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Wylie upgrades its record to 22-17 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 4 outing on Friday, October 21. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 12-27. Coronado lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Abilene (Abilene, TX)
The Westerners now own a 5-30 record. They play next when they travel to Cooper for a 5A Region I District 4 outing on Friday, October 21. Lubbock will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 15-19.
