Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Conemaugh Township knocks off Ligonier Valley
October 18, 2023: Ligonier, PA 15658 Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians face the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Conemaugh Township will attempt to better on its 15-1 season record. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Everett (Everett, PA).
The Rams now have a 0-6 record.

The Lady Indians had a big win against Ligonier Valley. Led by strong defense and forceful offense, The Indians accomplished a 7-0 win. Olivia Mauzy started the momentum when she scored within the first 2 minutes of the game. Izzy Slezak and Ashlyn Fetterman both netted hat tricks. Briar Berkey and Sophia Stango each had an assist and Jordyn Snyder added another shut out.
