New York High School Volleyball - Warwick over Valley Central
October 18, 2023: Montgomery, NY 12549 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) and the host Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY), saw Warwick's volleyball squad beat Valley Central by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Warwick upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Middletown (Middletown, NY) to play the Middie Bears in a Section 9 Orange County III bout on Monday, October 23. The Middie Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Middletown lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY)
The Vikings now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Pine Bush for a Section 9 Orange County I bout on Friday, October 20. Valley Central will play a Bushmen squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Kingston (Kingston, NY). The Bushmen record now stands at 18-5.
