October 18, 2024: Bronx, NY 10451 Mott Haven Mavericks (Bronx, NY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting A-Tech Panthers (Brooklyn, NY), 20-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Mott Haven advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Stevenson (Bronx, NY) to encounter the Ambassadors in a PSAL 1A battle on Saturday, October 26. The Ambassadors go into the battle with a record of 1-5. Stevenson lost 20-16 in their recent league battle against Information Tech (Long Island City, NY)
The Panthers now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Evander Childs for a PSAL 1A game on Sunday, October 27. A-Tech will battle a Tigers team coming off a 40-0 league loss to Tilden (Brooklyn, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
