In Friday's league match, the host Holy Savior Menard Eagles football squad scored a good 8-0 victory over the Avoyelles Mustangs.

The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Kinder (Kinder, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the 2A District 5 match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Kinder thwarted Oakdale (Oakdale, LA), 42-13, in a league match.
