The Battlefield Bobcats football squad scored 29 points and limited the visiting Gainesville Cardinals to 6 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Osbourn Park for a Western test on Friday, October 25. Battlefield will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 56-8 league loss to Freedom (South Riding, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-6.

The Cardinals now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Osbourn for a Western battle on Friday, October 25. Gainesville will play a Eagles team coming off a 48-7 league loss to Patriot (Nokesville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
