The crowd at Friday's league contest between the New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) and the visiting Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS), witnessed New Hope's football squad wallop Corinth by a tally of 46-7.

The Trojans (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region 1 contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Clarksdale was trounced by West Point (West Point, MS), 21-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a 5A Region 1 contest, on Friday, October 25. Corinth will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 35-21 league win over Lafayette (Oxford, MS).
