October 18, 2024: Decorah, IA 52101 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) and the visiting Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA), witnessed Decorah-North Winneshiek's football squad edge Western Dubuque by a tally of 10-7.
The Vikings (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA). The Trojans enter the 4A District 2 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Waterloo East was nudged by Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA), 42-18, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Bobcats battle the Mason City Mohawks (Mason City, IA) in a 4A District 2 contest, on Friday, October 25. Western Dubuque will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Mohawks enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 33-29 league win over Marion (Marion, IA).
