Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Eisenhower Knights (Russell, PA), 48-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Mercyhurst Prep advances its record to 6-3 on the season.

The Knights now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league battle on Friday, October 25. Eisenhower will play a Trojans team coming off a 50-20 league win over Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-1.
