The Morenci Wildcats (Morenci, AZ) football knocked off the host Fountain Hills Falcons (Fountain Hills, AZ), 49-29 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sabino for a 3A South outing on Friday, October 25. Morenci will clash with a Sabercats squad coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to ALA - West Foothills (Waddell, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 2-6.

With the defeat, Fountain Hills drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ) to meet the Elks in a 3A East test on Friday, October 25. The Elks come into the test with a record of 5-3. Round Valley won 42-6 in their recent non-league test against Ganado (Ganado, AZ)
