The Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets walloped the visiting Fountain Hills Falcons football team by a score of 62-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets play the Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) in a 3A East challenge, on Friday, October 18. Blue Ridge will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Longhorns go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 29-25 league win over Round Valley (Eagar, AZ).

The Falcons (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Cougars go into the 3A East challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Show Low was ripped by Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ), 42-16, in a non-league challenge.
