The Franklin County Bulldogs football team (Meadville, MS), was crushed 48-0 in Friday's league bout with the host Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS)

With the win, Wesson advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Cobras travel to South Pike (Magnolia, MS) to encounter the Eagles in a 3A Region 7 bout on Friday, October 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-1. South Pike lost 20-8 in their recent league bout against Jefferson County (Fayette, MS)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Port Gibson for a 3A Region 7 bout on Friday, October 25. Franklin County will encounter a Blue Waves team coming off a 30-14 non-league loss to Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS). The Blue Waves record now stands at 3-5.
