October 25, 2024: Meadville, MS 39653 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS) and the host Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS), witnessed Port Gibson's football squad edge Franklin County by a tally of 21-20.
The Blue Waves (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Pike (Magnolia, MS). The Eagles enter the 3A Region 7 contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, South Pike got by Wesson (Wesson, MS), 40-37, in a league contest.
