Texas High School Football - Franklin wallops Little River Academy

The Franklin Lions football squad scored 51 points and limited the host Little River Academy Bumblebees to 15 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host McGregor for a 3A-1 Region III District 11 test on Friday, October 25. Franklin will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-28 league win over Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Little River Academy drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bumblebees travel to Troy (Troy, TX) to meet the Trojans in a 3A-1 Region III District 11 test on Friday, October 25. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 6-1. Troy won 35-17 in their recent league test against C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX)
