Texas High School Football - Spring smashes MacArthur

The Spring Lions (Spring, TX) football trounced the host MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX), 61-12 in Friday's league outing.

The Lions now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Dekaney for a 6A Region II District 14 outing on Friday, October 25. Spring will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 56-28 league win over Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, MacArthur drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Westfield (Houston, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 14 outing on Thursday, October 24. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 5-2. Westfield won 56-7 in their recent league outing against Aldine (Houston, TX)
