Springwood Wildcats (Lanett, AL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL), 85-54 in a league battle.

With the win, Springwood advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Wildcats host North River Christian (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Chargers in a AISA 8-Man (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 25. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 0-9. North River Christian lost 68-8 in their recent non-league battle against Russell Christian Academy (Meridian, MS)
