Missouri High School Football - Macon thwarted by South Shelby

South Shelby Cardinals (Shelbina, MO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Macon Tigers (Macon, MO), 42-21 in a league battle.

With the win, South Shelby improves its record to 7-1 on the season.

The Tigers now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe City for a Clarence Cannon battle on Friday, October 25. Macon will play a Panthers team coming off a 60-6 league win over Highland (Ewing, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.
