Arkansas High School Football - Marked Tree defeats McCrory
October 18, 2024: Marked Tree, AR 72365 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR) and the visiting McCrory Jaguars (McCrory, AR), witnessed Marked Tree's football squad topple McCrory by a count of 38-30.
The Indians (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars enter the 2A Region 2 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Izard County was outscored by Des Arc (Des Arc, AR), 46-13, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Jaguars confront the Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR) in a 2A Region 2 contest, on Friday, October 25. McCrory will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 36-26 league loss to East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR).
