Kentucky High School Football - Middlesboro thwarted by Williamsburg
October 18, 2024: Williamsburg, KY 40769 Williamsburg Yellow Jackets (Williamsburg, KY) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY), 36-6 in a league battle.
With the win, Williamsburg advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Harlan (Harlan, KY) to play the Green Dragons in a 1A District 7 battle on Friday, October 25. The Green Dragons go into the battle with a record of 3-6. Harlan won 30-8 in their recent league battle against Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY)
The Yellowjackets now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Knox Central for a non-league battle on Friday, November 1.
