October 25, 2024: Williamsburg, KY 40769 Williamsburg Yellow Jackets (Williamsburg, KY) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 38-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Williamsburg advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Perry County Central (Hazard, KY) to play the Commodores in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Commodores go into the battle with a record of 4-5. Perry County Central lost 49-3 in their recent league battle against Corbin (Corbin, KY)
The Green Dragons now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to South Laurel for a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. Harlan will play a Cardinals team coming off a 28-0 league loss to Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-3.
