Georgia High School Football - Sequoyah holds off River Ridge

October 18, 2024: Canton, GA 30115

The Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) football tipped the visiting River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 38-35 in Friday's league outing.

The Chiefs now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope for a AAAAA Region 6 outing on Friday, October 25. Sequoyah will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 55-24 league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, River Ridge drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Creekview (Canton, GA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a AAAAA Region 6 outing on Friday, October 25. The Grizzlies come into the outing with a record of 5-3. Creekview won 55-24 in their recent league outing against Pope (Marietta, GA)
