Pennsylvania High School Football - Wyoming Valley West falls to Valley View

October 18, 2024: Archbald, PA 18403

The Valley View Cougars felled the visiting Wyoming Valley West Spartans football team by a score of 35-10 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Valley View will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Buckhorns go into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 22-10 non-league win over Pittston (Pittston, PA).

The Spartans (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA). The Comets go into the Wyoming Valley 1 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Crestwood was dropped by Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 21-14, in a league challenge.
