Pennsylvania High School Football - Valley View sneaks past North Pocono

October 4, 2024: Covington Township, PA 18444

The Valley View Cougars football squad scored 21 points and limited the host North Pocono Trojans to 14 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Delaware Valley for a Lackawanna 1 test on Friday, October 11. Valley View will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 40-32 non-league win over Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, North Pocono drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Scranton (Scranton, PA) to meet the Knights in a Lackawanna 1 test on Friday, October 11. The Knights come into the test with a record of 5-2. Scranton won 31-7 in their recent league test against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA)
