North Carolina High School Soccer - Bunn nudges Franklinton
October 18, 2024: Franklinton, NC 27525 Fans at Friday's league battle between the Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC) and the host Franklinton Red Rams (Franklinton, NC), saw Bunn's soccer squad hold off Franklinton by a count of 1-0.
The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Yellowjackets enter the The Big East 2A/3A battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Roanoke Rapids was edged by Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Red Rams battle the Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A battle, on Monday, October 21. Franklinton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Gryphons enter the battle with a 0-16 record after their 10-1 league loss to Southern Nash (Bailey, NC).
