North Carolina High School Soccer - East Wake Academy nudged by Research Triangle
October 18, 2024: Zebulon, NC 27597 Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Research Triangle advances its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Super Six 1A/2A test on Monday, October 21. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 15-1. Franklin Academy won 7-0 in their recent league test against Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC)
The Eagles now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to NCSSM: Durham for a Super Six 1A/2A test on Monday, October 21. East Wake Academy will clash with a Unicorns team coming off a 1-0 league win over Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Unicorns record now stands at 8-4.
