In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Midland Christian Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Coram Deo Academy Lions.

The Mustangs (23-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX). The Lions enter the TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge with a 2-17 record. In their last challenge, Grapevine Faith Christian was beaten by All Saints (Fort Worth, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Coram Deo Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 14-23 season record.
