October 18, 2024: The Plains, VA 20198 Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting King Abdullah Academy Falcons (Herndon, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wakefield School improves its record to 1-14 on the season. The Fighting Owls host Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA) to face the Tempest in a Freelance test on Tuesday, October 22. The Tempest go into the test with a record of 6-12. Trinity at Meadow View lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Seton (Manassas, VA)
The Falcons now own a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakefield Country Day for a non-league test on Monday, October 21.
