Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host Johnson Jaguars (San Antonio, TX), 35-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Madison improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Mavericks host Brandeis (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Broncos in a 6A Region IV District 27 match on Saturday, October 25. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 5-2. Brandeis won 30-0 in their recent league match against Clark (San Antonio, TX)

Coming up next, the Jaguars meet the LEE Volunteers (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 match, on Friday, October 24. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Volunteers come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 42-0 league loss to Reagan (San Antonio, TX).
